He has sculpted his Afro-Latin roots, performance training, drum circle facilitation skills and spiritual development into a full-time career that reaches people of all ages, nationalities and abilities. Cornell Coley is a full-time teaching artist, former folkloric dancer and arts administrator whose has won multiple grants and awards. His work and research have taken him to West Africa, across the USA, the Caribbean, Brazil, Mexico and Indonesia. He relishes the daily challenge of creating rhythm-based music in community to improve lives.
